Refund Policy
Last Updated: September 30, 2026
At Alto Consulting, we work closely with our clients to provide customized marketing consulting and related services. Because our services may involve dedicated time, research, strategy development, creative work, and other resources committed specifically to a client, the following Refund & Cancellation Policy applies.
1. Client Agreements
Specific payment terms, project requirements, deposits, cancellation terms, and refund conditions may be established in a separate proposal, invoice, service agreement, or other written agreement. If a signed client agreement contains terms that differ from this policy, the terms of that client agreement will control for that particular engagement.
2. Deposits and Initial Payments
Any deposit or initial payment required to begin a project may be non-refundable once Alto Consulting has begun work or committed resources to the project.
This may include time spent on:
-
Consultations
-
Research
-
Strategy development
-
Planning
-
Creative development
-
Website work
-
Marketing analysis
-
Project preparation
-
Other work performed specifically for the client
Any applicable deposit or payment terms will be communicated to the client before work begins.
3. Cancellation by the Client
Clients may request to cancel a project or service by contacting Alto Consulting in writing.
If a client cancels after work has begun, the client may be responsible for payment for work already completed and expenses already incurred.
If applicable, any remaining prepaid amount may be refunded at Alto Consulting's discretion after deducting amounts owed for completed work, committed expenses, or other non-refundable costs.
4. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client cancels before Alto Consulting has begun work, any refund will be determined according to the applicable client agreement.
Where no separate cancellation terms have been established, Alto Consulting may retain amounts specifically designated as non-refundable deposits or fees.
5. Recurring Services
For recurring marketing services, clients may cancel future services by providing written notice in accordance with the cancellation terms established in their service agreement.
Cancellation will not eliminate amounts already owed for services previously provided.
6. Rescheduling
If a client needs to reschedule a consultation or meeting, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.
Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in the appointment being forfeited or subject to a rescheduling fee if such a fee has been disclosed in advance.
7. Completed Services
Because marketing consulting involves customized work and professional services, payments for services that have already been completed are generally non-refundable.
This includes completed strategy sessions, consultations, research, audits, reports, marketing plans, content, designs, or other deliverables that have already been provided.
8. Third-Party Costs
Alto Consulting may recommend or use third-party platforms, software, advertising services, subscriptions, printing services, or other external providers.
Fees paid directly to third-party providers may be subject to those providers' own refund and cancellation policies and may not be refundable by Alto Consulting.
9. Project Delays
Client delays in providing information, approvals, access, materials, or other necessary items may affect project timelines.
Such delays do not automatically entitle the client to a refund.
10. Refund Requests
To request a refund or discuss a cancellation, contact Alto Consulting at:
